SSAT School Improvement Programme 2018
SSAT supports schools to effectively implement the Embedding Formative Assessment programme ensuring the improvement of student outcomes by fostering a positive change in school culture, teacher practice and student engagement and responsiveness. Following completion of the two-year EFA project, Uppingham Community College celebrated their best ever GCSE results.
In this case study, teachers and school leaders share their experience of embedding formative assessment and the impact of the project, authored by Dylan Wiliam.
The filming took place in one day. Without showing the student’s faces, B-roll (supplemental footage) was captured to enrich the story and to allow for greater flexibility in the edit.
In a second video, the longer term view on teacher learning communities (TLCs) is explored through interviews with teachers from Helsby High School.
Again, all filming was completed in one day.
